This blog is intended to document my journey as a mother of a heroin addict. As I held my baby girl for the first time 30 years ago, I never imagined in my worst nightmare she would walk this path. But it is her path.

My goal is share my journey, not hers. I know this disease is very much a family challenge; it is intertwined with each member across generations. But please know that her reality is very different from my perceptions I share here.
